Blog: New grant to look at issues of pain in Aboriginal Youth

Congratulations Dr. Margot Latimer (Principal Investigator) and co-applicants Sharon Rudderham, Dr. Allen Finley, and Dr. Stephanie Inglis on being awarded a $30,000 grant from the Atlantic Aboriginal Health Research Program.  The goal of the project is to learn how Aboriginal youth express their pain and determine a reliable way for youth to convey it. This project is important because it is the first of its kind to explore pain expression and measurement that may assist in reducing pain in youth from First Nations communities.
