Blog: New Project in Brazil

Dr. Allen Finley and research partners in Brazil were recently awarded a R123,471 ($75,000 CDN) grant from the Brazilian Ministry of Health. The project, entitled Program CuidaDor Hospital, seeks to implement the five principals of the ChildKind Initiative in the pediatric and neonatal wards of the Hospital das Clínicas de Ribeirão Preto and the Instituto Fernandes Figueira/Fiocruz de Rio de Janeiro.  The overall aim of the project is to establish these institutions as pediatric pain management reference centres for Brazil.
